The residence is located in the area of Dali – Nicosia. Dali area is a new developing area of residential and industrial usage.

The invitation to design a three-bedroom house was became an excellent opportunity to study the needs of a private domain. The demand of the client for privacy, has lead EKKY studio to the design of a solid “stone” wall defining the boundaries of the villa. The wall is supporting the two floating boxes of the private space at the first floor.

In addition, the house has an internal logic, combining intimacy and spaciousness.
The functionality and the clarity of the project are easily identified in the plans and the organisation of the space. The house is arranged in two stories :

the ground floor for common spaces (kitchen, hall, living, garden, toilet, dinning)
the upper floor for private spaces (3 bedrooms -the master bedroom en suite with walking closet, an office space, 1 common bathroom and laundry).

The research was focused on the relation between the interior and the exterior space, the natural lighting study and the maximum of livable spaces.
